RN - Pediatric Trauma Program Coordinator - Kings Hwy

Job Title

This job creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements in the program. Identifies resources needed and manages day-to-day operational aspects of the programs and updates the team on a regular basis. Collaborates with multidisciplinary team and coordinates delivery of plan of care.

Education

Required - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Preferred - Bachelor's degree in nursing.

Work Experience

Required - 5 years of nursing experience.

1 year of supervisory experience.

Certifications

Required - Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice.

Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.

Preferred - Certification in clinical specialty area.

Job Duties

• Manages implementation timelines, ongoing clinical and technical support, and development of site-specific education and improvement strategies.
• Conducts system and process reviews on targeted operational and service functions to validate or recommend implementation opportunities to improve productivity, customer service and/or quality of operations.
• Serves as a liaison to regulatory agencies and community partners and participates in meetings, conferences, in-services, as required.
• Serves as a team lead.
• Chairs committees as assigned.
• Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, including but not limited to respect for privacy, method of introduction to the patient, adapting explanation of services or procedures to be performed, requesting permissions and communication style.
• Performs other related duties as required.
