Unit Details

Unit Description
5 - bed Critical Access Hospital. Med/Surg - 20 beds, OB - 4 LDRP, 1 - post-partum/c-section prep.
Average Daily Census: Med/Surg 8 - 10 , majority are skilled care level, OB - average 85 - 90 deliveries per year.
Nurse to Patient Ratio: OB - (Low risk) 1:1 active labor, 1:2 for early labor, post-partum (couplets) up to 1:3 (1:3 is a rare occurrence), Med/Surg - up to 1:5 typical is 1:3-4
