Five Below Sales Associate We are seeking part‑time Sales Associates to deliver outstanding customer service, drive sales, and maintain a welcoming store environment. Responsibilities Greet and assist customers promptly, handling multiple customers efficiently. Understand and meet customer needs by sharing product knowledge, answering questions, directing to merchandise, and offering recommendations. Promote store events and promotions to enhance the shopping experience. Resolve customer concerns and use product knowledge to offer alternative solutions, turning returns into exchanges when possible. Communicate needs to management about restocking, service requirements, and customer feedback promptly. Support team and company goals by collaborating to achieve overall store objectives. Qualifications At least 16 years old. Available to work a flexible schedule. Comfortable with technology (cash registers, handheld and mobile devices). Excellent communication skills with customers. Ability to handle customer interactions and potential issues politely and professionally. Use basic information‑gathering skills to solve problems. Ability to learn procedural knowledge through on‑the‑job training. Essential Job Functions Frequently operate cash register. Frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and place/remove merchandise up to a height of 5‑10 feet. Frequently ascend/descend ladders for retrieving and storing stock. Frequently kneel, bend, twist, and stoop in the stock room and sales floor. Frequently communicate and exchange information with customers in store and via telephone, and with managers and coworkers. Frequently move across the sales floor assisting customers and to/from the stock room. Work a flexible schedule, including day, evening, weekends, overnight shifts, and travel as required. Identify and follow email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and SOPs. Remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time.
