20 Hours Per Week

Responsibilities

All patient care areas; contact with patients, visitors, staff.

Frequent prolonged standing/walking.

Lifts, positions, pushes, and/or transfers patients.

Protective clothing worn face shield, gloves, impermeable gown, and particulate respirator


Qualifications

Hi gh School Diploma or High School Equivalency required . Current NYS EMT Certification Required. Pass Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Test (70% or greater).

BCLS Certification required Minimum of 2 years of experience in direct patient care, 5 years preferred technical skills required for patient care.

Good oral and written communication skills.

Good interpersonal skills.

Speaks, reads and writes English to the extent required by the position
