Position Summary:

As a Cashier, you will be responsible for balancing and finalizing daily delivery routes, including processing payments, reconciling invoices, and ensuring all route documentation is accurate and complete. This role works closely with drivers and internal departments to support efficient daily operations and maintain accurate financial records.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Balance and reconcile daily delivery routes, including checks, credit transactions, and invoices
• Review and verify route paperwork for accuracy, completeness, and timely submission
• Process customer payments and ensure accurate posting to accounts
• Identify, research, and resolve discrepancies, shortages, and payment issues
• Support drivers with route settlements, paperwork, and payment questions
• Communicate with Accounts Receivable regarding credits, short payments, and outstanding balances
• Coordinate with Operations, Sales, Warehouse, and customers on account or delivery issues
• Maintain organized records, reports, and daily balancing documentation
• Assist with month-end reconciliation and reporting as needed
• Follow all cash handling procedures, financial controls, and company policies
• Escalate unresolved discrepancies or concerns to management in a timely manner

Required Skills and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous cashiering, accounting, bookkeeping, or office experience preferred
• Strong math, reconciliation, and data entry skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to learn internal systems
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet daily deadlines
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
