About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Clinical Medical Officer to serve as the principal medical and public health advisor for its Division of Population Health and Disease Prevention. The successful candidate will be an agile physician leader, providing executive-level guidance on clinical, operational, and public health matters to advance the mission of protecting the health and well-being of the community. This role involves supervising and managing the activities of all clinics within the division, implementing a long-term vision for clinical services, leading the expansion of services based on public health needs, and ensuring the division is at the forefront of innovative clinical practices. The Chief Clinical Medical Officer will also be responsible for overseeing the division's budget, ensuring compliance with funder requirements, and leading the division's human resources operations. Applicants must have a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree, with board certification in a relevant specialty preferred, and a Master's degree in public health, health administration, business administration, or a related field. A minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience, with a management or senior leadership role in public health, healthcare administration, or a related setting, is required. The role demands a candidate with a strong understanding of electronic health record systems, healthcare workflows, payment models, and revenue cycle operations. The Chief Clinical Medical Officer will be expected to build and maintain partnerships, lead diverse teams, and manage complex projects, all while being committed to the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
