Duties

• Assist with landscape installation, including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and installing hardscape features such as pathways or retaining walls
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing lawns, trimming trees and bushes, edging beds, and pruning plants to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal
• Operate grounds maintenance equipment including lawn mowers, power tools, excavators, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently
• Manage irrigation systems—installing, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers to ensure proper watering schedules
• Apply
• Maintain cleanliness of work sites by removing debris, weeds, and ensuring safe storage of tools and equipment
• Support snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways safe and accessible

Qualifications

• Mechanical knowledge related to landscape equipment operation and basic repairs
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, irrigation systems, and hardscape installation techniques
• Experience operating grounds maintenance machinery such as mowers, excavators, or snow plows is a plus
• Strong adherence to safety protocols with a focus on safe operation of landscaping equipment and outdoor work practices
• Construction experience or familiarity with tree care and gardening techniques is advantageous
