This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll coordinate crews, subcontractors, and daily jobsite activities while contributing your own carpentry skills when needed.What You'll DoAs the field leader, you'll help ensure every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the high standards our clients expect.Your responsibilities include:Lead daily operations on residential construction and remodeling projectsCoordinate carpenters, subcontractors, and trade partnersPlan daily work activities and maintain project schedulesPerform rough and finish carpentry when neededRead and interpret construction drawings and project specificationsIdentify and resolve field challenges before they affect project progressMaintain safe, clean, and organized jobsitesCommunicate professionally with homeowners, project managers, and subcontractorsTrack project progress, daily reports, and employee timeMentor field team members and help build a positive jobsite cultureWhat We're Looking For5+ years of residential construction experienceExperience as a Superintendent, Lead Carpenter, Foreman, or similar leadership roleStrong rough and finish carpentry skillsAbility to read construction drawings and plansExcellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skillsExperience coordinating subcontractors and multiple phases of constructionValid driver's license and reliable transportationWhat Success Looks LikeIn this role, you'll:Keep projects organized, safe, and progressing on scheduleDeliver quality craftsmanship that reflects Lakeside's standardsBuild productive relationships with homeowners, subcontractors, and teammatesResolve field challenges quickly and professionallyHelp develop a positive, accountable, and collaborative jobsite cultureWhy Join Lakeside?$30-$40 per hour, based on experience401(k) with company matchPaid Time OffYear-round custom home and residential remodeling projectsOpportunity to lead meaningful work while remaining hands-on in the fieldA team that values craftsmanship, integrity, and continuous improvementHow to ApplyIf you're a hands-on construction leader who enjoys building quality homes while helping teams succeed, we'd love to hear from you.Please submit your resume along with a brief summary of your residential construction experience.
