Salary: $85,000 – $90,000 per year (based on experience)

About the Company

Our client is an established industrial electronics company operating under Easun Reyrolle , with offices in Winnipeg, Canada and Houston, Texas . The company designs and manufactures high-reliability digital fault recorders, protective relays, and power system monitoring solutions used by electric utilities worldwide to protect, monitor, and stabilize the electrical power grid.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support manufacturing operations at our Houston facility. This role is responsible for improving manufacturing processes, supporting new product introduction, ensuring product quality, optimizing production efficiency, and collaborating with engineering, supply chain, and operations teams to deliver reliable power system products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and improve manufacturing processes for electronic products and PCB assemblies.
• Support production planning to ensure on-time delivery and efficient resource utilization.
• Work closely with Engineering, R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain teams on new product introductions and manufacturing improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity, improve quality, and reduce manufacturing costs.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards and manufacturing best practices.
• Coordinate with EMS providers, suppliers, and vendors to maintain material availability and production schedules.
• Support manufacturing documentation, work instructions, equipment calibration, and preventive maintenance.
• Monitor production performance, troubleshoot manufacturing issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze manufacturing KPIs and recommend process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8–10 years of manufacturing engineering experience in electronics manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of PCB assembly, electronic manufacturing processes, testing, and quality systems.
• Experience working with EMS partners, production teams, and engineering groups.
• Hands-on experience with ISO 9001 quality management systems.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and inventory/production planning.
• Knowledge of automated testing, in-circuit testing, and IPC-A-610 standards is an asset.
• Experience with NI LabVIEW and TestStand is considered an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Candidate Requirements

• U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
• Willing to relocate to Houston, Texas.
• Comfortable working onsite five days per week.
• Previous experience in the power or energy industry is required.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $85,000–$90,000 annually
• Insurance Coverage: $12,000
• 401(k): 3% company contribution
