Radiation Therapy Technologist

Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Duration - 13 Weeks

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Radiation Therapy Technologist to provide high-quality radiation therapy services in an oncology setting. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Radiation Therapy and demonstrate strong technical, clinical, and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver radiation therapy treatments according to physician-prescribed treatment plans.
• Operate and monitor radiation therapy equipment safely and effectively.
• Verify patient identity, treatment site, and treatment parameters before procedures.
• Position and immobilize patients accurately for treatment.
• Monitor patients during treatment and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
• Maintain accurate treatment records and documentation.
• Follow radiation safety protocols and established department procedures.
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists, physicists, dosimetrists, nurses, and other members of the oncology team.
• Provide compassionate patient education and support throughout the treatment process.
• Maintain a safe and professional treatment environment.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Radiation Therapy experience .
• ARRT (R.T.) certification required.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• Strong knowledge of radiation therapy procedures and safety standards.
• Excellent patient-care and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary oncology team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise treatment protocols.
