As a CST, Your Daily Duties Will Include:

• Preparing and meticulously organizing the operating room for surgical procedures
• Ensuring sterile environments and following strict infection control protocols
• Supporting surgeons and surgical assistants by delivering necessary instruments and supplies
• Managing surgical instruments and equipment during all phases of surgery
• Tracking and monitoring supplies to guarantee readiness for each procedure
• Collaboratively working with nurses, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team for optimal patient care
• Accurate documentation and maintaining counts of all surgical tools and materials

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
• High school diploma or equivalent a must

Certifications Required:

• Active CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential is essential
• BLS certification (or the commitment to obtain it within 90 days of hire)
