Regional Sales Manager

Who They Are
We are working with a privately held company in the two-step distribution channel, looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead and guide an expanding team and company to success. This person should understand the two-step distribution model as it relates to products such as lumber, fasteners, decking, roofing and similar products. You will have full autonomy to build this team as you see fit, working directly beside the owner of the organization.

What You'll Do
- Manage the building products sales team for their Central region
- Partner with another Director to grow sales across the company's footprint
- Set and follow through on sales growth goals
- Spend time out in the field securing business opportunities
What You'll Need
- 10+ years leading teams
- Experience leading at a 2-stepper is xhyhwjd strongly preferred, but leadership experience with a building products manufacturer or 1-stepper is also acceptable
- Experience selling EWP, fasteners, windows, trim, lumber, and/or roofing is strongly preferred
- Comfortability being flexible and adapting to direction changes on-the-fly
