Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: PICC/CVC management Wound care Description: The facility is a fully-accredited critical access hospital serving the healthcare needs of the local community. It provides primary and inpatient care, as well as various services including emergency, laboratory, imaging, and rehabilitation. The medical-surgical unit supports a patient population primarily consisting of adults aged 18 and older, with many patients being 65 and older. This is a 17-bed unit emphasizing teamwork and collaboration among staff. The unit provides inpatient, observation, and swing bed services. There is no surgical service provided on site. The facility has a strong presence of physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, along with respiratory therapy and 24-hour provider coverage. Imaging services, including CT and X-Ray, as well as laboratory services, are available around the clock. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:6. The dress code requires scrubs, with no specific color restrictions. Weekend shifts may be rotated, and the potential for floating between units exists.
