Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Estate and Trust Paralegal to join our law office. In this vital role, you will support Mr. Pupach in preparing, reviewing, and managing probates and probate litigation, trust administrations and trust litigation and related legal matters. Your expertise will help ensure our clients’ wishes are accurately documented and executed efficiently. The ideal candidate is proactive, possesses excellent research and communication skills, and has a strong background in probate and or trust administration.
Duties
- Draft, review, and organize trust administrations, probates and litigation cases
- Conduct comprehensive legal research across multiple practice areas including estate law, probate, trusts to support case development
- Manage case files, draft court filings and pleadings
- Assist attorney with client interviews by preparing questionnaires, gathering relevant information, and documenting client instructions clearly
- Support project management efforts by tracking deadlines, maintaining calendars for estate administration processes, and coordinating meetings or court filings
- Review legal documents for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with procedural law standards while proofreading for grammatical precision
- Requirements
- Proven experience as a paralegal supporting probate, trust and related legal fields
- Strong knowledge of estate legal procedures along with familiarity in other specialized areas listed above
- Proficiency with comprehensive case analysis
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Written and verbal communication skills for client correspondence, legal drafting, proofreading, and document review
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel)
- Experience handling procedural law requirements such as filings, court document preparation, and client communication protocols
- Strong attention to detail while providing executive administrative support when needed
