Billing Specialist

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Billing Specialist to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $50,000 to $55,000 per year. Job Responsibilities Prepare and issue customer invoices and ensure charges are accurate based on supporting documentation. Review shipment related details and verify that all applicable fees are properly included in billing. Communicate with internal teams and customers to resolve billing questions and discrepancies. Maintain organized digital records by scanning, uploading, and categorizing documents. Assist with month end billing activities and support general administrative tasks as needed. Requirements Prior experience in billing, logistics, or an administrative accounting role. Strong attention to detail with the ability to review documents and ensure accuracy. Proficiency with office software, including Excel and document management tools. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced setting. Strong communication skills for working with both internal teams and external clients. Qualifications Organized and detail focused approach to handling documentation and billing records. Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies through research and follow up. Previous experience working with billing or document management systems.
