Manufacturing Maintenance Technician

Our client is looking to add a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician to their team! Our client is a leader in the manufacturing of different paper related packaging products for the food industry and has a FANTASTIC work life balance. The 2nd shift maintenance technician will be in charge of servicing and maintaining all manufacturing production equipment. Qualified candidates will need to have maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities: - Servicing and maintaining all manufacturing production equipment - Set up, maintain, and repair production equipment, forming dies, presses, and tray erectors - Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines and production support equipment - Execute tooling changeovers as required - Troubleshoot mechanical issues to ensure efficient production flow - Assist in developing and implementing process improvements - Perform safety and quality inspections; maintain a clean and safe work area - Keep accurate maintenance records and manage parts inventory - Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams Qualifications: - Minimum of 2 year experience working as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment - Good organizational and time management skills, with demonstrated experience in project management - Good mechanical aptitude - Basic knowledge of the following: vacuum and compressed air system, electrical circuitry(AC/DC), and hydraulics - Ability to perform basic electrical work - Ability to follow LOTO, HACCP, SQF, and MSDS standards - Forklift experience preferred Benefits: - Excellent benefits including health, life, vision, dental and disability insurances - Generous performance and attendance bonuses - 401(K) Plan with superior company contributions - Generous amounts of Paid Time Off - 11 paid company holidays - NO weekend work, overtime available on a voluntary basis - Annual steel toe shoe and prescription safety glasses allowance - Pay increases earned based on your individual performance improvements and proven increased value to the company. - Awarded Top Work Places by Columbus CEO Magazine for 2022, 2023, &2024.
