Production Planner

Position Summary

We are representing a very prominent manufacturing organization that is actively seeking a Production Planner. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing manufacturing capacity, inventory levels, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage production schedules based on customer demand and manufacturing capacity
• Monitor production performance and identify capacity constraints or scheduling opportunities
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels while supporting on-time customer delivery
• Utilize ERP systems and Excel to analyze production data and support planning decisions
• Interpret data to identify trends, solve problems, and improve planning processes
• Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and other departments to ensure efficient production flow
• Recommend process improvements that enhance planning accuracy and operational performance
• Prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or a related field preferred
• 2-5 years of experience in production planning, demand planning, supply chain, forecasting, or a related manufacturing function
• Experience using ERP systems and advanced planning software
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• APICS certification, project leadership experience, and manufacturing operations experience are considered a plus
