Operating Room Registered Nurse

$1836.00/week - Job Summary: Seeking a skilled OR Registered Nurse to provide specialized perioperative care in a busy surgical unit. The role involves supporting a variety of open and laparoscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining optimal surgical flow. Responsibilities: Collaborate with surgical teams to prepare the operating room for procedures and ensure all equipment is sterile and functional. Circulate and monitor patients during surgeries, adhering to safety protocols and patient care standards. Document all clinical activities accurately in electronic medical records. Assist with maintaining a sterile environment and ensure compliance with infection control policies. Participate in on-call duties to provide 24/7 coverage as needed. Support and communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes. Qualifications: Current RN license with minimum 1 year of OR experience. Proven ability to assist with GEN/GYN/GU/Pedi open and laparoscopic surgeries. Experience working with EMR systems and surgical equipment. Strong understanding of sterile techniques and infection control practices. Must be able to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends, with on-call availability. BLS and ACLS certifications required.
