Registered Nurse Operating Room

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled OR Registered Nurse to provide specialized perioperative care in a busy surgical unit. The role involves supporting a variety of open and laparoscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining optimal surgical flow.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with surgical teams to prepare the operating room for procedures and ensure all equipment is sterile and functional.
• Circulate and monitor patients during surgeries, adhering to safety protocols and patient care standards.
• Document all clinical activities accurately in electronic medical records.
• Assist with maintaining a sterile environment and ensure compliance with infection control policies.
• Participate in on-call duties to provide 24/7 coverage as needed.
• Support and communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with minimum 1 year of OR experience.
• Proven ability to assist with GEN/GYN/GU/Pedi open and laparoscopic surgeries.
• Experience working with EMR systems and surgical equipment.
• Strong understanding of sterile techniques and infection control practices.
• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends, with on-call availability.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
