Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure the comfort and safety of patients during procedures, clearly and compassionately explaining each detail
• Work hand-in-hand with radiologists and referring physicians to offer top-tier diagnostic images
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, diligently reporting any issues
• Keep precise documentation and maintain patient records utilizing the electronic medical system
• Stay updated on recent advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related area
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
