Registered Nurse (RN) - Endoscopy

Endoscopy RN Circulator

Minimum 1 year RN experience required. Endoscopy circulator experience necessary. Teaching experience preferred. Prior pre-op/post-op endoscopy experience required. References: 2 required, covering 1 year within the last 3 years. Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS. Familiarity with EPIC charting system. Clinical skills in endoscopy circulation, pre/post-procedure care, conscious sedation monitoring/recovery, IV starts/maintenance, specimen handling, and airway management as needed. Experience with endoscopy equipment and routine endoscopic tools.

Serve as the circulator during endoscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety and compliance with established protocols. Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. Monitor patients' recovery from sedation and manage any complications during the post-operative phase. Educate patients and their families on recovery processes and follow-up care post-procedure. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care and facilitate effective communication among healthcare providers.

Must have a vehicle for this assignment. RTO: Up to 6 total days or 3 consecutive days auto-approved; over 6 days requires client approval and may delay offer. Commitment to work 3 of the 5 specified holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day). Modules: Pre-start and annual training; average ~16 hours non-billable (over 20 hours requires approval). 50-mile radius rule for assignment. Return-staff rule: 3 months between permanent and travel assignments. Background/credential checks may require approvals.
