Albatross Ventures is looking for qualified applicants for Containment Vacuum Truck Operator. As a Containment Operator, you will be responsible for managing site contaminants on oil and gas pads, sites, and locations, ensuring they are effectively removed from containments. Your key duties include keeping containments dry, free of debris, and well-organized. You will also be tasked with operating and maintaining equipment, optimizing processes, and adhering to strict safety practices. With a strong customer-focused approach, you will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and a sense of urgency to meet and exceed operational and safety goals. This role reports directly to the Operations Manager. 

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and maintain on-site containment equipment including a 20-barrel vacuum truck.
• Maneuver company site-truck around the site, back into tight spaces, monitor tank levels, on-site disposal of contaminates, connection and disconnection of hoses without spills. 
• Conduct 360-degree vehicle/site walk=arounds including equipment, before moving the truck.
• Communicate effectively with the Operations Manager, other Albatross Ventures team members, and with customers and their contractors to optimize equipment performance and operations.
• Identify, report and address safety, environmental, equipment and documentation on maintenance, conditions, and execution or operations or irregularities. 
• Adhere to Albatross Ventures and client safety policies and procedures.
• Perform general housekeeping duties and be familiar with Spill Prevention Plans.
• Comply with company standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements with a commitment to operational excellence. 
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 0-2 years of experience in the natural gas processing industry, with some knowledge of gas processing equipment, engines, and electrical components.
• PEC/Safe land and/or OSHA 10 Orientation 
• Willingness to learn operational and control systems.
• Experience with frac processes and safety is a plus but not required.
• Ability to learn safe handling practices for of equipment.
• Ability to understand and operate mechanical and electronic equipment used in containment operations and control by directions of Albatross Ventures management/team and customer representatives. 
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet company insurability requirements.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screening required before hire.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.

Physical Demands/Working Environment:

• Regularly required to use hand tools and equipment, engage in repetitive hand movements, and communicate verbally.
• Capable of working in noisy environments, climbing stairs and ladders, lifting  25 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Occasionally required to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; stand or walk for extended periods; remain seated for up to half the workday; enter confined spaces (as required and when trained); and work in low-light areas.

Miscellaneous :

• Availability for all shifts and schedules.
• Willingness to work in various climate conditions.
• This is a safety-sensitive position subject to random drug testing.
