Interior Designer

H Mart is seeking a Junior Interior Designer / Architectural Designer to support commercial and retail design projects. This position will assist senior designers and project leads in preparing and managing interior design packages, construction drawings, detail drawings, finish schedules, furniture layouts, and design review materials. Responsibilities but not limited to: Support design review and proposal development for H Mart commercial and retail projects Prepare and revise interior design packages, construction drawings, and detail drawings Assist with material selection, furniture layouts, lighting selection, and FF&E documentation Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, consultants, and general contractors on assigned tasks Maintain and update the internal library of materials, finishes, and vendor catalogs Generate/Support high-quality 3D renderings and visualizations for internal design presentations Monitor project progress and ensure design specifications are being followed during the construction phase Organize and track project schedules, deliverables, and FF&E budgets to ensure timely completion Participate in project meetings, site visits, and design reviews Qualifications / Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field 1 -3 years of related experience in interior design, architecture, retail design, or commercial design Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D design software with basic drafting skills Basic understanding of interior construction drawings, including finish plans, elevations, reflected ceiling plans, and finish schedules Ability to travel within the United States as needed Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean preferred Health, Dental & Vision insurance / EAP (Employee Assistance Program) per company policy 401 (k) Retirement Plan with up to 5% match per company policy Life Insurance and AD&D (Accidental death & Dismemberment) per company policy BTA Insurance (Business Travel Accident Coverage) Company provided lunch Paid-time off (PTO) and Paid Holidays per company policy Celebration & Condolence Benefits per company policy Smart Card: Earn additional 4 points to the standard $1 = 1 point Holiday Gift certificates per company policy FSA (Flexible Spending Account) per company policy DCFSA (Dependent Child Care Spending Account) per company policy Work Hours: MON-FRI, 9:00am to 6:00pm Salary Range: $54,900 - 73,200 *Actual compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, skills, and other job-related factors. #J-18808-Ljbffr
