In this role, you'll build consultative, trusted relationships with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders, proactively advising on complex compensation matters across the entire employee lifecycle. You'll bring data to life — combining deep analytics, market insights, and internal talent data to ensure Pinterest's compensation practices stay competitive, equitable, and true to our compensation philosophy.If you're a strategic thinker who thrives at the intersection of data, business partnership, and innovation — and you're excited to shape how a leading tech company rewards its people — we'd love to hear from you.What you’ll do:Cultivate strong, collaborative partnerships with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, and Engineering & Product leaders, serving as a trusted advisor on the full spectrum of compensation activities — including new hire offers, promotions, critical talent decisions, and retention strategiesHarness market insights, industry trends, and internal talent data — amplified by AI-powered tools — to deliver sharp, data-driven recommendations that strengthen the effectiveness and competitive positioning of Pinterest's compensation practicesCritically assess the effectiveness of existing global programs, practices, and processes, and champion actionable recommendations for improvement that align with external market trends and Pinterest's strategic objectivesDrive key compensation initiatives from end to end, including annual compensation planning, promotion cycles, and equity award cyclesDesign, build, and maintain compensation tools, dashboards, and automated reporting solutions that elevate the speed, accuracy, and accessibility of compensation insights for business partners and leadershipDevelop and continuously refine compensation communication and training materials that drive deeper understanding, engagement, and adoption of Pinterest's compensation programs across the organizationWhat we are looking for:A minimum of 5 years supporting global compensation programs and client groups, ideally across Engineering and/or Product organizationsFamiliarity with one or more insights tools strongly preferred, such as Market Pay, Compa, and/or RadfordComfortable working in Google SheetsHands-on experience with an HRIS, with Workday a plusA track record of using AI to develop compensation tools or dashboards, paired with rigorous oversight of accuracy and integrityStrong interpersonal and communication skills, grounded in a solutions-oriented mindsetA natural relationship-builder who partners effectively across functionsSharp analytical and quantitative abilities, with an unwavering commitment to accuracyA holistic problem solver with a growth mindset, unafraid to challenge assumptions and apply critical thinkingAdept at juggling competing priorities and supporting multiple stakeholders in a fast-moving environmentSkilled at applying AI to streamline compensation workflows, while validating outputs and retaining ownership of final recommendationsOutstanding planning, organizational, and project management capabilitiesBachelor's degree in HR, Business, Finance, or a related field — or equivalent hands-on experienceRelocation Statement:This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.
