QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master's degree required
• Michigan Administrative Certification required
• Previous administrative experience preferred
• Previous secondary school teaching experience preferred
• Knowledge of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
• Knowledge of teacher evaluation
• Background building and maintaining a positive climate and culture
• Understanding of Michigan State Standards and the Michigan Merit Curriculum/Graduation Requirements
• Knowledge or ability to familiarize with PowerSchool

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Building-level curriculum and instructional leadership
• Hiring, staff development, supervision, and evaluation
• Developing student, school, and staff schedules
• Overseeing safety procedures and protocols
• Managing the building budget
• Communicating with school and community stakeholders
• Revising and implementing district building initiatives and follow-through
• Supervising co-curricular events and activities
• Performing all physical requirements of the position (standing, lifting, walking, etc.)
• Assuming other applicable leadership functions and duties as assigned by the Superintendent
