Exceptional communication skills, political savvy, and the ability to navigate complex environments are essential. The role also involves leading a small but growing team, providing mentorship, and serving as a trusted partner to executive leadership. Applicants for the Vice President of Philanthropy position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) and at least 10 years of progressive fundraising experience, ideally within a large healthcare system, academic medical center, or large nonprofit. The role requires a proven track record in strategic development, strong operational and managerial skills, and the ability to lead through influence. The ideal candidate will be a motivated, results-oriented leader with high emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and integrity.
