Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CVOR Surgical Technologist for a day-shift hospital position requiring NBSTSA certification and strong CVOR, general OR, and trauma experience.

Details

• Hospital CVOR unit with general OR and hybrid OR responsibilities
• Community hospital setting performing vascular and cardiovascular procedures including CABG, TAVR, EVAR, and aneurysm repairs
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
• Heavy call requirements with a 30-minute call range, shared among 2 CVOR Surgical Technicians, 1 FA, and 2 CVOR RNs daily, including weekends and holidays
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience required, including CVOR, general OR, and trauma experience
• NBSTSA certification required
• BLS certification required
• Wisconsin or Compact license required if applicable; pending license accepted at submission but must be obtained during compliance
• Prior travel experience required
• SSN, DOB, and RTO required at time of consideration
• NIHSS certification may be pending but must be completed during compliance
• Experience with vascular and cardiovascular surgical procedures such as CEA, EVAR, femoral popliteal bypass, CABG, and TAVR

Additional Information

• Provide surgical technologist support for complex cardiovascular and vascular procedures
• Facility cannot accommodate candidates with latex allergies
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Local candidates accepted at a lower rate
• Travel pairs accepted
• Previous travelers may return only after a minimum 1-year separation from the facility
• Badge photo (passport-style) required within 24 hours of offer acceptance
• Two supervisor references required after offer acceptance
• Orientation includes facility modules averaging 3-4 hours, generally completed during orientation
