Community Engagement Coordinator

The Community Engagement Coordinator is a key member of the Association management team. This position requires a polished, creative, enthusiastic professional who can provide outstanding customer service while enhancing the vibrancy of the community for residents. This vital role serves as the face of the community and the ambassador for all the lifestyle activities. The Community Engagement Coordinator will be responsible for creating memorable experiences for homeowners that cultivate a sense of belonging and ongoing pride in ownership within your community. This individual also oversees the Wellness department within the community overseeing various wellness workshops and classes. Work directly with the Community Manager and/or Board to create and implement relevant, innovative activities and programs that build community in the neighborhood. Facilitate, organize, and manage community events and programs. Secure all entertainment, food, decorations and items necessary to carryout events. Oversee support staff and facilitators to ensure facilities, events, classes, and customer service meet the needs of residents. Work with residents to assist in the establishment of chartered clubs. Respond to all inquiries and provide service as necessary in person, by telephone, email or other form of communication to members and guests. Be familiar with all amenity policies and procedures. Maintain social calendar daily with creative, relative content which reflects the vibrant life of the community. Produce weekly communication to homeowners. Work directly with the homeowners to develop relationships, anticipate needs and gauge interests. Set and adhere to the highest standards of performance by personal follow-up to ensure that excellent service is being provided. Develop relationships with vendors and sponsors to facilitate activities and events. Support owners with general Association questions. Support the Community Manager with administrative duties and responses to owners. Assist with community initiatives and projects as directed by the Board. This position will be required to work weekends and occasional evenings. Perform other duties as directed. Operating Skills, Knowledge & Abilities Dynamic, motivated self- starter who is detail oriented, and who demonstrates excellent customer service, communication, time management and relational skills. Must have strong discipline, be able to work independently and accomplish projects at a superior level with little supervision. Ideal candidate is a connector who can positively interact and build relationships with homeowners and greet all residents and guests with a welcome and a smile. Education/Training/Experience: College level courses in Business, Recreation, Hospitality or Education Two (2) to three (3) years of industry experience preferred Demonstrates working knowledge of Adobe and Office Suite Programs or comparable graphic programs Experience with various social media platforms.
