Registered Nurse (RN)Position requires three 12-hour shifts, with on-call responsibilities as needed. Our organization, a non-profit entity with nearly 4,000 employees, is recognized nationally for various specialized services, including cancer care, cardiac services, stroke treatment, bariatric care, breast imaging, and rehabilitation services.Responsibilities include assessing patients to determine their mental, physical, and spiritual needs, collaborating with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans, providing clear explanations and instructions to patients and their responsible parties, demonstrating nursing clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient conditions effectively, contributing to fostering a healthy workplace by managing conflicts and utilizing professional communication skills, fulfilling core measure responsibilities related to patient care, engaging in continuing education to maintain and enhance nursing competencies, and maintaining complete and accurate medical records.Licenses and certifications required include a current Illinois Registered Nurse license, current CPR/BLS certification, and current ACLS certification. Unit specific qualifications include Intensive Care Unit, Progressive Care Unit, Cardiac Services, Electrocardiology, Pediatrics, and other specialized units as required.We are looking for individuals who are passionate about patient care and can thrive in a collaborative environment.
