Job Opportunity – Pediatric Medical-Surgical / Hematology-Oncology Registered Nurse – North Carolina

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour day shifts (06:45 - 19:15), 36 hours per week, every other weekend required. Contract duration up to February 27, 2027.

Highlights:

• Pediatric medical-surgical and hematology/oncology unit serving patients ages 0-17
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6 across all shifts
• Epic charting system with self-scheduling capabilities
• No on-call requirement; float to PICU and NICU as needed
• 24-hour unit orientation with comprehensive hospital onboarding
• Contract duration through the holiday season with extended assignment opportunity

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of pediatric nursing experience required
• Current RN license (North Carolina or Compact state license)
• BCLS (BLS) and PALS certifications required
• Chemotherapy administration experience and certification strongly preferred
• IV start and phlebotomy skills preferred
• Experience with central line care, port management, and isolation precautions
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
