Qualifications:

• MA Special Education license (Moderate Disabilities, grades 5–8)
• Sheltered English Immersion Endorsement required
• Experience with the Wilson Reading Program strongly preferred
• Reading Specialist certification preferred but not mandatory
• Prior work supporting students with language-based disabilities
• Ability to provide inclusion support, direct instruction, and IEP services
• Strong collaboration skills for effective planning and co-planning

Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted reading instruction and intervention to middle school students
• Support inclusion classrooms and provide modifications for language-based disabilities
• Implement and monitor IEP goals and academic progress
• Utilize research-based reading strategies, including Wilson Reading
• Collaborate regularly with general education teachers and related services
