Senior Level Accountant

Description Full-time Senior Level Accountant to service clients. Manage administrative tasks including monthly closings, establishing charts of accounts, and preparing reports. Produce business correspondence and proofread with a high degree of accuracy. Oversee Junior level staff. Service multiple clients, anticipating and addressing routine concerns. Continue professional development through ongoing education. Recognize and inform partners of opportunities to increase level and types of services to clients. Qualifications B.S. degree in Accounting or equivalent knowledge and skills gained by completing office procedures coursework. 2+ years of current or recent financial and administrative experience in public accounting. Payroll knowledge related to processes, systems, and schedules. Experience desired with CalPERS system, educational sector, insurance accounting, multi‑fund financial statements, and tax. High proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, data management, corporate accounting software and QuickBooks. Career‑oriented professional committed to public accounting. Supervisory experience preferred. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Excellent project management and analytical skills.
