Certified Wound Care Clinician, Nurse

Working with long-term care facilities in a designated territory to assist with wound assessments and treatment decisions Monitoring proper application and utilization of wound care products Understanding Medicare documentation and reimbursement guidelines Educating facility staff on documentation that meets federal and state requirements Ordering wound care products through our internal system “FastCare” for the residents to receive their products Supporting facilities wound care programs by assisting with tracking, documentation, and understanding of the wound care products coverage guidelines Requirements Valid healthcare license (RN, LPN, PT, OTR-L, DPM or similar) preferred but could be certified in the first year of hire Must have exemplary customer service skills Must be business savvy, sales-minded Must be a self-starter and work independently Must be hard-working and motivated Must be organized and detail-oriented Must live in the area designated and be willing to travel on a daily basis Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in wound care assessments and treatment decisions, with a strong understanding of Medicare documentation and reimbursement guidelines.
