We are currently seeking aPsychiatrist to serve asMedical Director forourInpatient Behavioral Health Services.Thisposition is an integral part of the OrlandoGeneral Psychiatry residency programwiththepsychiatristreceivingan academic appointmentwith theUniversity.

Responsibilities include clinical teaching, supervision ofmedicalstudents and psychiatryresidents, and conductingscholarlyworkincollaborationwithotherfaculty.

The residency program hosts6 residents per yearandthe hospital behavioral health unitistheprimary rotation site for first-yearresidents.TheMedicalCenteroffersa25‑bedunitforacute, short‑term behavioral health carefor the adult andgeriatricpopulation.The emphasisison evaluation, stabilizationand educationofpatients.The state‑of‑the‑art25‑bedfacility openedinDec.2014.
