The average daily census is 21 patients with a total of 23 beds. The staffing ratios are 1:10 on all shifts. This position requires floating to different units as needed. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. Candidates must have previous charge experience. Travel experience is required. Candidates must possess a BLS certification. The nursing responsibilities include assessment and management of various patient conditions. Skills required include medication administration, wound care, and infection control. Additional tasks include patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration. Candidates will work with adult and geriatric populations. The unit provides various services, including therapy and social services. This role requires ongoing patient monitoring and the ability to respond to emergency situations.
