Must-Have:
- Acute Care Inpatient Dialysis experience
- Experience with acute renal failure, acute kidney injury, hemodialysis, and peritoneal dialysis
- Skills in administration of blood/blood products, managing blood flow rates, and troubleshooting machine alarms


Description:
The Dialysis Registered Nurse will work a 4x10 schedule from 07:00 to 17:30.
The position includes 2/3 overnight calls every third Saturday, remaining on call until Monday at 07:00.
A one-hour response time is required for call visits, which are only for emergent cases.
The unit operates with an average daily census of 3-6 patients, in a 2-room, 4-bed setting.
Candidates with less than one year of experience may be considered.
Every other weekend of work is required.
Candidates must be open to being on-call as needed.
Travelers will not float within the facility.
The position requires the ability to cannulate AV grafts and fistulas, and manage various dialysis treatment skills and equipment.
The ideal candidate will have experience with patient symptom management, airway management, blood glucose monitoring, and infection control.
Familiarity with Cerner is preferred.
This facility is an acute care hospital with a total of 372 staffed beds and offers interdisciplinary support.
Compliance with required call and weekend work is essential.
Candidates must be able to work a minimum of two out of three major holidays.
