Oasis Treatment is an integrated behavioral health organization offering trauma-informed care for individuals experiencing substance use disorder, mental health challenges, and co-occurring needs. With multiple locations across Oregon, we provide accessible, culturally responsive care through high-intensity outpatient (HIOP), intensive outpatient (IOP), outpatient, psychiatric services, peer mentoring, and access to recovery housing. Position Overview Oasis Treatment is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Psychologist to join our integrated clinical team, providing comprehensive psychological services to adults with mental health and substance use disorders. This position involves conducting psychological assessments, providing individual and group psychotherapy, and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based, trauma-informed care. The ideal candidate brings expertise in addiction psychology, mental health, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Key Responsibilities Clinical Assessment & Diagnostic Services Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and diagnostic assessments using standardized instruments Perform psychological testing for cognitive, personality, and neuropsychological functioning as clinically indicated Complete risk assessments for suicide, violence, and safety planning Develop detailed treatment recommendations and integrate findings with multidisciplinary treatment teams Provide diagnostic clarification for complex clinical presentations and co-occurring disorders Complete court-ordered evaluations and assessments as requested Individual and Group Psychotherapy Provide evidence-based individual psychotherapy using modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, trauma-informed therapies, and motivational interviewing Facilitate therapeutic groups including process groups, psychoeducational groups, and skills-based interventions Deliver specialized treatment for trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders Integrate psychological interventions with addiction treatment and recovery support services Maintain active caseload appropriate to full-time or part-time status Provide crisis intervention and safety planning as needed Staff Competency & Clinical Support Ensure clinical staff are competent to perform their job duties and responsibilities during any hiring process Provide psychological consultation and clinical expertise to treatment teams Offer supervision and mentoring to psychology interns, practicum students, and clinical staff Conduct competency assessments for psychological assessment and intervention skills Document staff competency evaluations and maintain compliance with accreditation standards Lead training sessions on psychological assessment, evidence-based treatments, and clinical best practices Interdisciplinary Collaboration & Integration Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, counselors, and peer support staff in treatment planning Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case consultations Coordinate care with primary care providers, specialists, and external treatment providers Integrate psychological services with medical care, peer support, and social services Communicate assessment findings and treatment recommendations to team members and families Support transitions between levels of care and continuity of psychological services Documentation & Compliance Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation in Electronic Health Record (EHR) system Maintain compliance with HIPAA, state licensing board requirements, and organizational policies Ensure psychological assessment reports meet professional and legal standards Participate in quality assurance reviews and clinical audits Complete required continuing education and maintain professional certifications Adhere to APA ethical guidelines and state psychological practice standards Program Development & Quality Improvement Contribute to development of psychological services and evidence-based treatment protocols Participate in program evaluation and outcome measurement initiatives Provide input on psychological assessment tools and treatment planning processes Support integration of psychological services across all levels of care Collaborate on research projects and program evaluation efforts Mentor clinical staff in psychological assessment and intervention techniques Qualifications Required: Education: Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or related field from an APA-accredited program Licensure: Current, unrestricted license to practice psychology in Oregon Experience: Minimum 2 years of post-doctoral clinical experience working with adults Specialization: Experience treating substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health conditions, and trauma-related disorders Assessment Skills: Proficiency in psychological assessment, testing, and diagnostic evaluation Therapeutic Skills: Demonstrated competency in evidence-based psychotherapy approaches Technology: Proficiency with EHR systems and electronic psychological assessment tools Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Transportation: Valid driver\'s license and reliable transportation Preferred: Advanced Training: Specialized training in addiction psychology, trauma therapy, or co-occurring disorders Evidence-Based Practice: Certification in specific therapeutic modalities (CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT, etc.) Assessment Expertise: Training in neuropsychological assessment or specialized psychological testing Cultural Competency: Bilingual capabilities (English/Spanish) and experience with diverse populations Healthcare Experience: Experience in integrated healthcare settings or behavioral health organizations Supervision Experience: Background in clinical supervision or training of psychology students Research Background: Experience with program evaluation, research, or data analysis Diagnostic Expertise: Proficiency in DSM-5-TR diagnostic criteria and differential diagnosis Assessment Skills: Comprehensive psychological assessment and testing capabilities Therapeutic Techniques: Mastery of multiple evidence-based therapeutic interventions Crisis Management: Skills in crisis intervention and safety assessment Cultural Competence: Ability to provide culturally responsive and inclusive psychological services Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Experience working effectively within multidisciplinary
