Quality Engineer

Insight Global is looking for a Quality Engineer to joining a growing team supporting the Semiconductor industry. This role will support overall quality operations within the Service Technology Center, ensuring compliance with ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 standards while driving continuous improvement across manufacturing processes. The engineer will focus on reducing defects, improving process efficiency, and lowering warranty costs through root cause analysis and failure investigations. They will lead quality initiatives including audits, non-conformance resolution, and corrective actions, while maintaining accurate documentation and reporting. This person will work cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and global quality teams to standardize processes and implement improvements, as well as provide training on quality procedures, SOPs, and system updates. This role can pay between 85K-95K based on an evaluation of relevant years of experience and education level.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related discipline
3-5+ years of experience in a quality engineering or manufacturing quality role
Strong knowledge of ISO9001 Quality Management Systems
Experience supporting audits and working within structured quality systems
Experience with root cause analysis, failure analysis (FRACAS), and continuous improvement methodologies
Experience in manufacturing environments, including process validation and verification
Proven ability to lead training, communicate across teams, and drive process improvements


Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Knowledge of ISO14001 and ISO45001 standards
Experience with Lean manufacturing / continuous improvement systems
Familiarity with Power BI, Minitab, or advanced data tools
Experience with calibration processes and measurement tools
Six Sigma Green Belt certification (Black Belt preferred)
