Retail Team Leader (Key Holder) Location: 7460 South Avenue, Boardman, OH 44512 Pay: $18-19 per hour (based on experience) Store Hours: Monday – Saturday 7 AM – 8 PM; Sunday 9 AM – 6 PM Benefits Holidays off – closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day, and Easter Opportunities for advancement – several leaders began as Sales Associates Health care benefits immediately after hire Responsibilities Open and close the store Assist with daily store operations and tasks Unload and organize merchandise from delivery trucks, transfer from stockroom to store Maintain merchandise – rotating products, ensuring proper food handling, receiving, and product quality Provide exceptional customer service – build relationships, solve problems, and drive sales Handle cash – bank deposits, provide change for cashiers, set and count registers Help build and train the team, developing leadership skills while supervising sales associates Qualifications 1–2 years of retail experience with progressively increasing responsibility Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and lift above shoulder height frequently Flexible full-time schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to safely operate power equipment (e.g., slicers, walkie lifts, forklifts) where applicable Occasional response to alarm calls and ability to work shifts at other nearby stores Minimum age 18 years (required) High school diploma or equivalent Successful completion of pre‑employment checks, including drug screen and criminal background check Basic computer skills Equal Employment Opportunity Statement: Gordon Food Service, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
