Job Duties - What Awaits You

• Conduct routine and intricate laboratory tests in various areas including chemistry, hematology, and immunology in accordance with established protocols.
• Evaluate test outcomes for precision, correct discrepancies, and carry out routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen gathering and prepare samples for examination as required.
• Thoroughly document all laboratory processes, mentor new personnel or students, and maintain lab quality assurance protocols.
• Ensure a safe and organized working environment while complying with regulatory standards and accreditation guidelines.

Educational Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health field, along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certification Criteria

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain current certification throughout the duration of employment.
