Overview The position is a travel assignment for a Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech specializing in ultrasound, based in Plattsburgh, NY, United States. This hospital‑setting role involves floating to Valcour Imaging as needed and requires weekend and on‑call coverage. The assignment utilizes GE Logiq 9 and PACS‑Visage, with EPIC for documentation. Candidates must hold ARDMS credentials and demonstrate EPIC experience within the past two years, along with BLS and Ultrasound Tech Certification Verification (or equivalency). Prior travel experience is preferred, and reliable transportation is required due to limited public transit in the area. Operate GE Logiq 9 ultrasound equipment, optimize imaging, and upload studies to PACS‑Visage. Document findings and assist with interpretation workflows in EPIC; communicate pertinent information to radiologists as needed. Obtain informed consent, explain procedures to patients, and maintain professional patient interactions. Float to Valcour Imaging as required and cover weekend and on‑call shifts according to assignment needs. Maintain equipment, report malfunctions, and participate in routine quality and safety practices. Requirements ARDMS certification (AB and/or OB) required. EPIC experience within the past 2 years required. BLS certification required. Ultrasound Tech Certification Verification or equivalency. Prior travel experience preferred. Ability to float to Valcour Imaging and to work weekend and on‑call shifts. Reliable transportation is required; public transit is not accessible in the area. All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained during the application process. Willingness to work in a high‑volume imaging environment within a hospital setting.
