Registered Nurse - ICU Night Shift
This is a 13-week contract position.
12-hour night shifts, including weekends as scheduled.
The Registered Nurse will work in a single Critical Care Unit consisting of 20 beds, with a patient population that includes approximately 30-50% COVID-19 patients, as well as those recovering from cardiac procedures and other complex medical conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critical patients, including those with COVID-19, cardiac issues, diabetic ketoacidosis, sepsis, and post-surgical cases.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to critical patient needs promptly.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Current RN License.
- ACLS and BLS certifications.
- NIHSS certification preferred.
- Experience in an ICU setting is preferred but not required; candidates without EPIC experience will be considered.
