Industrial Mechanic / Maintenance Technician (3rd Shift)

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL

Schedule: Overnight Shift (3rd Shift)

Employment Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic / Maintenance Technician to join a fast-paced manufacturing operation. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment to ensure smooth, continuous operations.

This is a hands-on overnight position , ideal for experienced maintenance professionals who excel in troubleshooting and keeping equipment running efficiently.

• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues across production equipment
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime
• Support mold changeovers and production line efficiency
• Maintain and repair extrusion, blow molding, and injection molding equipment
• Install and service electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
• Inspect and maintain compressed air and chilled water systems
• Disassemble and reassemble machinery for repair and upgrades
• Document all maintenance activities in the system
• Follow all safety, GMP, and maintenance procedures
• Collaborate with production teams to keep operations running smoothly

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
• Strong experience with:
  • Extrusion systems
  • Blow molding & plastic injection equipment
• Hands-on knowledge of:
  • Mechanical systems
  • Hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Electrical troubleshooting
• Ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently on overnight shifts
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment

• Technical degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field
• Experience with extrusion processes
• Knowledge of GMP and SQF standards
• Experience with maintenance management systems (ERP/CMMS)
• Strong Spanish communication skills
