Waterborne Security EMT - B

Description This position is currently filled, however we are accepting applications for Ready Replacement Pool consideration. Prevailance is seeking an experienced, mission-focused professional to support Center for Security Forces (CENSECFOR) as an Emergency Medical Technician - Basic (EMT‑B) at Learning Site Little Creek, in Virginia Beach, VA. The EMT shall be an Instructor / Administrative assistant to the Site Lead, and will provide emergency medical support during all high‑risk training evolutions. They will also keep all contractors current with CPR/AED qualifications when not being used for training evolutions. Travel may be required. Requirements NREMT or State of California Certified as an Emergency Medical Technician - Basic, or higher Certified to instruct CPR/AED Second‑Class Swimmer qualified per NETC P1552/16 standards (must demonstrate water survival proficiency through a deep‑water jump, a 100‑yard swim, a 5‑minute prone float, and shirt/trouser inflation for buoyancy) Preferred ARC certified Lifeguard Military Rescue Swimmer Clearance Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
