We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager/Controller to lead the financial operations of two separate yet related businesses: a boutique hotel and a newly constructed data center facility. This is a high-impact role for someone ready to manage full-cycle accounting for two entities, establish robust financial controls, and drive strategic financial planning. This role offers significant growth opportunity-reporting directly to the General Manager of both businesses with a dotted line to the Owner, you will have autonomy to shape financial processes, drive strategic budgeting, and contribute to long-term business planning.
Key Responsibilities- Execute complete monthly financial close for both P&Ls and prepare/present accurate and timely entity level and consolidated financial statements.
- Reconcile all balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Own end-to-end A/R processes: invoice generation, collection follow-up, aging analysis, and bad debt reserves.
- Direct management of full payroll processes (processing, tax withholdings, benefits administration, payroll reporting), ensuring timely and accurate execution for both entities.
- Build, implement, and own a comprehensive budgeting process for both P&Ls.
- Own the design and implementation/modification of robust internal controls across both entities.
- Partner with auditors and regulatory bodies as needed
- Manage and monitor the data center construction budget; track all capital expenditures against forecast.
- 7-15 years of progressive accounting experience, including full-cycle accounting.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience managing A/R, A/P, payroll, and general ledger functions
- Strong knowledge of monthly/quarterly financial close processes
- Demonstrated experience with budgeting and financial forecasting
- Solid understanding of internal controls and best practices
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, modeling)
- FLUENT MANDARIN SPEAKER required
- Ability to work on-site in Snoqualmie, WA at least 2 days per week
Compensation & Benefits Base salary plus performance bonus, with total compensation targeted up to $120,000 annually. Exact salary within range commensurate with experience and qualifications.
