Accounts Receivable Manager Consultant- Fully Remote POST NUMBER: 151038

Vaco is seeking a fully remote Accounts Receivable Manager Consultant to support a leading HVAC and plumbing company. In this contract role, you'll oversee a team of four AR Specialists while helping the organization reduce outstanding receivables and bring invoice collections up to date. This opportunity offers up to $50 per hour, depending on experience Responsibilities: Led third-party collections operations, providing strategic oversight and accountability to improve collection performance and maximize cash flow. Evaluated and redesigned collections processes, implementing standardized procedures and performance metrics to drive operational efficiency and measurable results. Directed initiatives to significantly reduce aged accounts receivable by strengthening collection strategies and accelerating invoice resolution. Managed high-volume AR portfolios with a focus on reducing delinquent balances, improving Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and increasing cash collections. Partnered with internal stakeholders and third-party collection agencies to resolve complex account issues and enhance collection effectiveness. Established performance expectations, monitored key collection metrics, and drove continuous process improvements to optimize team productivity. Championed a results-driven culture by identifying process gaps, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring accountability across collections operations. Developed and executed action plans to improve aging trends, reduce outstanding receivables, and strengthen overall accounts receivable performance. Requirements: Minimum of 4 years of AR Experience Organizational & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to multitask, manage compliance-related tasks, and troubleshoot enrollment issues.
