About the Position

• Demonstrated competency in all areas of Sterile Processing tasks, procedures, practices. 
• Regular attendance to perform work on site during regularly scheduled business hours or scheduled shifts is required.
• Advanced knowledge of cleaning, disinfection and decontamination processes and sterilizers.
• Advanced understanding of types and functions of instruments and equipment (e.g. endoscopic, microsurgical, robotic and power).
• Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional team.
• Experience and understanding in the use of computers, as well as the ability to learn software relevant to Sterile Processing.
• Ability to successfully function in a fast-paced, service oriented environment.
• Ability to work nights and/or weekends.
• Required: Competent working knowledge in all aspects of Sterile Processing.
• Preferred: 1+ year of experience in a hospital or clinic operating room.
