Sorting Robotics Inc. is excited to offer a Robotics Engineering Internship for enthusiastic individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the rapidly evolving field of robotics, specifically within the cannabis industry. T his job is for a part time or full time Co-Op Role that will last 6 months.
Preferred: Must be comfortable with cannabis (preferred you enjoy it and have experienced it) as we manufacture robotic innovations for the legal cannabis market in the US and Canada.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assisting in the design, testing, and development of robotic systems.
- Working closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot and improve existing robotic technologies.
- Participating in prototype assembly and integration.
- Supporting data collection and analysis to refine robotic performance.
- Documenting experiments, processes, and results to contribute to project reports.
- Engaging in team meetings to discuss project updates and share insights.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Pursuing a degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of robotic systems and programming languages (Python, C++, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination
Work Location: On-site
Work Hours: Flexible, part-time hours available
