Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Credentials: Graduation from a COARC-accredited school for respiratory therapy required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Pediatric and adult experience preferred.

Unit Details: Adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric patient population.

Shift & Scheduling: Day/evening 8- and 12-hour shift options: 0700-1900, 0700-1530, 1500-2330. Every other weekend. Holidays as required. 1 on-call shift every 6-week schedule period.

14 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 reference required from within the last 3 years

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
