About the Position

Job Title: RN - Outpatient Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Outpatient Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum years of experience preferred License: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required Must-Have: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred Acute care facility experience preferred Description: Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff. Coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking and professional discretion. Employs independent judgment to provide comprehensive patient care. Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation. Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues. Develops plans that prescribe interventions to achieve patient outcomes. Implements care plans and coordinates care delivery effectively. Evaluates progress toward attaining established outcomes. Identifies specific outcomes for patients or patient situations. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers in a safe and caring environment. Provides learning opportunities for patients and family members. Delivers health information to patients, families, and treatment teams effectively. Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. Delegates tasks and coordinates duties among healthcare team members. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Commits to the safety and wellbeing of associates and patients.
