Electrician

MD Licensed Electrician

Venture Solar is hiring a MD licensed electrician. $1500 SIGN ON BONUS FOR MD ELECTRICIAN LICENSE Must be able to report to the Wilmington DE warehouse daily.

As a licensed electrician in the state of MD, you will be responsible for:

• Executing plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning PV solar systems
• Installing electrical apparatus, fixtures, and equipment
• Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components
• Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them
• Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair damaged units

What you'll bring:

• Valid electrical license in the state of MD
• Must be willing to drive to the Wilmington, DE warehouse every morning
• Experience as an electrician with solar required
• Experience in residential or commercial electrical systems preferred
• Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter, etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints
• Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts with paid overtime
• A valid driver's license is required
• Can work well independently and as part of a team

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to climb ladders and work on pitched residential roofs
• Ability to work in attics

Full time work 40+ hours, overtime pay for over 40 hours in 1 week.

$45-$50 per hour. (Compensation rate based on experience)
